How Blind Guy Comedy went from a nervous first open mic at Meeting Waters Coffee + Roastery to discovering my true purpose on stage. Eight years later, I’m no longer chasing fame I’m living the dream every time I make a room laugh. This is why I do stand-up.

Blind stand-up comedian J.R. Bjornson shares the art and honesty behind his comedy. Every punchline comes from real life embracing blindness, frustration, and humor. Instead of roasting others, he finds laughter in his own experiences, teaching audiences through self-reflection and truth.

J.R. Bjornson is headlining his first-ever comedy night in Edmonton on Monday, June 9th at the Kingsway Legion! Join him for 40 minutes of hilarious storytelling about life, blindness, family, and the chaos of raising five kids with a dog and a cat. Doors open at 6 PM, show starts at 7:30 PM. Tickets are just $15. Minors are welcome (no alcohol for under 18). Come laugh, relate, and enjoy the ride!
