I’m happy to announce that on Saturday, September 19, 2026, I’ll be kicking off the evening as the opening act for internationally acclaimed Indigenous comedy hypnotist Scott Ward at the Red Deer Memorial Centre!

If you’ve never seen Scott perform before, you’re in for a treat. He’s been entertaining audiences for more than 20 years, performing everywhere from Las Vegas to communities across North America. His comedy hypnosis show has been featured on CBC, CTV, APTN, and more, and now he’s bringing that experience to Red Deer Alberta.

As for me, I’ll be doing what I love most, making people laugh.

If you’ve followed Blind Guy Comedy for a while, you already know my style. I take everyday frustrations of living with blindness and somehow turn them into stories that make people laugh instead of feel sorry for me. My goal has always been simply leave people happier than when they walked into the room.

This show feels a little different for me.

Normally, I’m sharing the stage with other comedians. This time, I’m the only comedian on the bill, opening for one of Canada’s most respected comedy hypnotists. It’s a full-circle moment and one I’m incredibly grateful for.

First, about 20 minutes of Blind Guy Comedy. Then Scott Ward takes over and the audience becomes part of the show. If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to watch your friends become the stars of a hypnosis performance, this is your chance.

Who knows... maybe someone you know will volunteer.

June 21, 2026 catch me opening the show as part of the It Must Be Nice Comedy Tour starting at 4:00 PM. Location The Grindstone Comedy Theatre 10019 81 Avenue NW, Edmonton, Alberta T6E 1W7 Tickets are available exclusively through the Show Pass website. Celebrating National Indigenous People’s Day by putting on an all Indigenous line up Comedy show, talented individuals who have unique stories to share. Guaranteed laughter, guaranteed pointing of the lip point of views. I am so honoured to be opening for this show. Each comedian is from a different reserve across western Canada. Take it from me. This is going to be a great show as I have performed with these wonderful, talented, comedians before and have zero regrets.

Quick little story about your host Arsan Buffin. He started the It Must Be Nice Tour as a joke on TikTok during the pandemic. Then the Joke grew, into something real and eventually he developed a fan base on TikTok. Now what started off as a joke has become something real and beautiful. Arsan would make these funny little TikToks, pretending he was on the road touring across Canada. He would meet chief Joe and chief Joe would ask him to sign his piece of Bannack. It just got more fun from there after. Now the It Must Be Nice Tour continues to travel across Canada with a wonderful crowd of great Indigenous comedians.
